Effective June 18, New Mexico
Student Loans no longer originates FFELP loans due to the
changes to the student loan program that are part of the
Health Care and Education Reconciliation Act of 2010
signed by the President on March 30, 2010. Questions about
new student loans for the 2010-11 academic year should be
directed to your financial aid administrator or to the
Direct Loan website. NMSL will continue to service
existing student loans made prior to the 2010 academic year.

New Mexico Student Loans now offers
Electronic Statements! If you are interested in receiving your
monthly statements electronically, please log into your account
here,
and select the "View Statements" option in the upper left side
of the web page.

Reduce your interest
rate by .25% by signing up for the Easy Pay program. Easy Pay allows
your monthly payment to be automatically drafted from your account
allowing you to sit back and relax knowing that your payment has
been made on time every month!
